Bedford-Hanscom Girl Scouts of ages got creative at a recent Cookie Rally.
Encampment 2009 : "Magic for Muggles"
At our Harry Potter themed "Magic for Muggles" encampment, girls had an opportunity to participate in many exciting themed events. We performed the Tri-Wizard Tournament on the low ropes course. We went to Potions class and made ice cream. We watched a fun magician and finished off the weekend with games in the field and s'mores!

Stop by our booth between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to learn more about Girl Scouts in Bedford. Local girls and their families are invited to come talk to leaders and find out how much fun it is to be a Girl Scout.
If you miss us at Bedford Day, come to an informational meeting on Monday, September 26th at 7pm at the Scout House (282 Wood Street, Lexington, MA).

It's never too late to become a Girl Scout!
Did you know that Girl Scouting provides opportunities for girls AND
adults to gain skills in leadership, life, technology, and citizenship,
as well as outdoor skills? Are you aware that it is a flexible, fun
program for all school-aged girls AND adults? Or that girls AND adults
love it because it allows them to have fun while forming meaningful
lasting friendships?
Membership is flexible. Girls and adults can join a troop OR they
can take part in programs individually. Adult volunteers can choose
between short and long term positions. They can offer to share a skill
or hobby at a one time event, or to mentor a group of girls for a year. More info ..
